Molly Tarlov (born November 11, 1981) is an American actress, best known from 2011 on for her character in the role of Sadie Saxton on the television comedy-drama series Awkward. Tarlov is the youngest daughter of two, and was born in Manhattan. As a 10-year-old Tarlov was a character in her role as Mrs. Peterson as part of the Little Red School House production of Bye Bye Birdie. This was greatly praised by an audience comprised of seventh graders. She spent summers studying at NYU Tisch and Interlochen Center for the Arts. Bennington College gave her training in various acting styles. The Atlantic Theater Company, which she attended as well, taught her how to integrate writing and acting in the LAByrinth Theater's Master class. Molly switched her winter black coat into a pair of dark sunglasses after arriving at Los Angeles. The three words on iCarly immediately caught the attention at her family members. Since then, she's appeared on television in numerous roles. She also created the character of Caitlin on Winnie Holzman's ABC Family show Huge. Molly likes to think she's an athlete, even though she isn't. Her favourite writers include David Mamet, Henrik Ibsen and Lauren Iungerich.
