Jennifer Garner is a West Virginia native, born in Houston on the 17th of April, 1972. William John Garner was her father. He was also a chemical engineer company called Union Carbide. Patricia Ann Garner taught in a college near her. Wanting to follow his father's path and earn a degree in chemical engineering. She moved into New York in order to fulfill her ambitions as an actor. The Broadway roles were accompanied by work at a local establishment. She appeared in as a guest on the tv show "Felicity." It was here that she got to know Scott Foley, her first husband. Garner was first seen in Alias the action thriller. Her debut part was in the acclaimed romantic comedy 13 Going on 30. In it she played the teenage girl trapped in a thirtyyears old body. Garner selected Gary Winick as the director of her film. The team continued to look for roles until Winick's passing in 2011. Garner earned the honorary title of the artist ambassador in 2009 by Save the Children U.S.A. The program focuses on literacy, nutrition and early childhood education. From 2014 onwards, Garner has been a participant on the board of trustees of the organization. She has been pushing for early elementary education. In her role as an ambassador, Garner visits often with the families who are part of Early Steps to School Success the program which trains parents on ways to support youngsters in their learning.
