Emily VanCamp

Emily Irene VanCamp is a Canadian actress who has been praised for her leading roles in a variety of television shows and also for her powerful acting in films. She has a large following in American and Canadian television. Emily began acting at the age of 12 when she was visiting her sister Katie in one of Katie's films. When she realized her love for acting, she began to take classes in acting and going to auditions. After several commercials that were successful, she was quickly booked in the Canadian kids' horror TV series Are You terrified of Dark? It was the only scene that she didn't speak. She got her first big breakthrough at fifteen when she was spotted as a regular character on Glory Days, a WB series Glory Days. Emily's acting caught Greg Berlanti's eye, even though the show ended with just nine seasons. Greg Berlanti cast Emily as a regular in Everwood. Emily was also a ballerina and photographer was recognized by Teen magazine as one of the best actresses younger than 20. Emily was listed as at number 51 on Maxim's Hot 100 list of 2014.
